Does your hair shed certain times of the year. My thryoid was normal and i am shedding.? Does your hair shed?
I usally dont lose much hair but lately it is shedding more than it has in years. is this normal . do we shed like dogs do certain times of the year .
I tend to shed alot of hair, especially at night. When i’m vacuuming I always find it behind my bed as well as on and underneath my pillow. There’s nothing wrong with my thyroid either. On the flip side my hair does grow quite fast. I tend to get about 4-6 inches of hair cut off 3-4 times per year and my hair is generally just past shoulder length sometimes longer. So maybe it also depends how fast your hair grows back.
well it is normal, ussually my hair sheds like rite b4 winter. this year tho my sister shed a lot of hair and it was so annoying cause there would be hair all over the floors. but im pretty sure its just a phase. everything will be alrite. already the amount of hair she has shed has gone down

if you’re noticing your hair is shedding around the same time every year it probably has to do with the weather/environment. each hair goes through a growing period which is usually a few years and then a resting period. afterwards they fall out, which is why we see shedding in the first place. but you should try and pay attention to the hairs that are coming out; if they have a white bulb at the end it’s probably normal shedding, but if not it’s breakage which is bad
