Yes, life can be normal again. It really takes the patient to make it normal again. I found you need to learn more about the condition, test results, and thyroid medications. Don’t ever give up until you feel well again. It too me a couple of years to find the correct medication and the correct dosage and now I feel great.

The first answer pretty much covered it all. It definitely does help to get treated. Normal is a relative term, but it does get you back on track. The person being treated will need to be on medication the rest of their lives and will need to have a check-up at least once a year.
