		<description>OF COURSE ITS POSSIBLE. just cuz your mom has hypo that doesn&#039;t mean you CAN&#039;T have hyper. it would make sense that if she has any type of thyroid problem that you may very well inherit a thyroid problem but there&#039;s no rule that says it has to be the same problem. 

(my mom and sister have hypothyroidism but when i started getting thyroid issues i had hyperthyroidism. then i was fine for a while and now i have hypothyroidism)

you need to go to your dr and have some blood tests (TSH, T4, T3, thyroid antibodies) and then you need to go see an endocrinologist for proper diagnosis and treatment.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>
