hyperthyroidism- can it cause increase in breast growth?
Hi, I’m 17 and my breast are abnormally large. like im a size 2, 110 pounds, and i have 32f’s. I have a lot of the symptoms of hyperthyroidism. So i was wondering if it could have possibly caused my breasts to be so large. thanks for the help!
Hyperthyroidism doesn’t cause breast tissue growth…that just might be your young age/ you’re still growing.
Women will experience very little change in breast size with hyperthyroidism. In teens large breasts can be the result of very active tissue response to normal hormonal assosciation.
A quick visit to your doctor and they can do a test to see if you are suffering from an overactive thyroid gland. If you take birth control the increase in estrogen can also be assosciated with breast enlargement.
