thats it.
answer quickyl please!!
Thyroid gland is one of the vital glands of your body. If its absent for example removal by surgery, one needs life long supplement of thyroid hormones.
Now the gland produced two thyroid hormones, thyroxine and triidothyronine.
These two control your body’s metabolism. Since metabolism is key for a living body and definitely for a healthy body.
See, if one’s thyroid hormones are deficient, he/she becomes sluggish. All physical and mental functions get diminished. In children there is low IQ.
So thats why throid gland is so important.

for a female
thanks
The best thing to do is to go to a doctor and have them prescribe you medication. They most likely will give you something called T3. This will bring your thyroid levels much higher to a normal level.
If you dont want to go to a doctor there is a natural supplement called T100 it is a thyroid regulator. I’m not sure how well it works but its an alternative if you don’t like medications. Howver T3 is something that is proven to work and you will feel a lot better and less tired. Good luck

No it does not produce GI symptoms and once your under-activity is corrected with levothyroxine you should be 100% normal.

ive had a lump on my thyroid for 7 months now had went to the doctors 3 months ago and had a blood test and a ultra sound done my doctor said everything looks good but referred me to a ear nose and throat specialist to be sure and talk about treatment options…im wondering if i will get a biopsy, does that hurt? also what should i expect at this visit? its on monday. im 20 and healthy beside that stupied lump that wont go away…it moves and has stayed the same size since i found it..
I had multiple fine needle biopsies done on my neck. I didn’t find it much different then giving blood except in you neck.
They may run more tests in the future, radioactive iodine, to see if lump is producing thyroid hormone. I think I even went for an MRI.
I think they will need to rule out thyroid cancer. If it turns out to be cancer or unknown they may wish to surgically remove it. This is a low percentage case.

Hello, I don’t even know where to begin. I have a thyroid nodule that has been biopsed and I am waiting for the results. I can feel the nodule when I swallow. I am so nervous that I have thryoid cancer that I took anti anxiety pills, but now stopped. Took some trazadone to sleep but now stopped. I was getting sharp chest pains and felt food sticking in my throat halfway down in esophoges. So, I started prilosec thinking I might have GERD. Could stress cause GERD? Well, the chest pains are gone, but the food stuck in my throat feeling is still there. So, then I thought that was from the possible thyroid cancer. So I asked my endicrinologist and he said they are not related. So, I am at a loss what this is from. I am so freaked out I have cancer and it has spread down my esophages from my thyroid. Anyone know what this is from? Also, other symptom since this all started is morning congestion every morning. Never had that before either. (2 months now) Please help me?
Hi hun,
I’m sure what your going through right now is very worrying, but what you need to do right now is calm down. You would be surprised what stress and anxiety can do to you. If you convince yourself you have an illness you can experience a whole new range of symptoms. Might sound a bit strange but i speak from experience! These chest pains could be panic attacks and many people experience a feeling of a lump in the throat which seems to go down and come back up after swallowing. Hope this helps and good luck i’m sure you’ll be fine
