is spitting blood and blood in urine symptoms of hypothyroidism as i am already taking medication for the same

Cripes, no.

Please get to a doctor IMMEDIATELY. Blood coming out of either end of your GI system, whether it’s in your mouth or in your feces, is symptomatic of GI bleeding. In the urine, it can mean trauma to the kidney or conditions in which the kidney’s components are seriously compromised (nephritic syndrome or certain kidney infections) or a kidney or bladder stone–but those last would cause pain, which you don’t mention.

Hypothyroidism should have nothing to do with bleeding. Please get medical attention at once.

I think that I have hypothyroidism. What can I do to help with the symptoms? Is it hereditary?

My blood test comes back on the low side of normal. I have many of the classic symptoms such as fatigue, DRY skin, excessive weight gain, chest pain, intolerance to cold/heat, hair loss, carpal tunnel syndrome, and many others. Also, my mother had complete thyroid replacement in her young thirties (i’m 34).

Take your underarm temp the first thing in the am for 5 days. If below 97.6 it is probable your metabolism is too low. Exercise, adding Vit A and Kelp. Retest in 1 month. If still low get a Doc that unddsrstands the contraversy associated with both hypothyroid testing and limitations of synthroid! God bless!

Symptoms of Hypothyroidism?

If you have been diagnosed with Hypothyroidism (Under-active Thyroid) what were some of the symptoms you experienced?

My mom was recently diagnosed and some of her symptoms have been weight gain, dry skin, fatigue, hot and cold flashes.

Do these symptoms sound like hypothyroidism?

- Hair falling out in big clumps when I take a shower
- Irregular period
- Very tired
- Dry skin
- Weakness
- Irritability
- Muscle cramps, muscle aches
I have all of these symptoms. =(

yeah, i have it, and those are definitely things i’ve gone through. but dont be worried. if you’re going to have a disease this is quite an easy one. the biggest symptom though should be weight gain, so if you havent changed in weight, it may be something else. just go get a blood test, its all it takes.
